It’s been a crazy few weeks for Heisenberg Media. After a relatively quiet summer, the conference season is full on, with 5 conferences all being covered within a 3 week period. I managed to get back to Vienna for a few days in between Webit and NOAH, but just long enough to wash a few clothes and dust a few spots off the lenses.
The HBM tour began in Berlin, with coverage of the TechCrunch Disrupt Europe event. I covered the 24 hour Hackathon by myself, but did manage to duck out for a few hours to catch some sleep. A few of my favorite images from the hack:
The following day, the Disrupt Europe event kicked into full swing. TechCrunch had brought in a photo editor Jana Legler to process images arriving from the various photographers covering the event. I covered the main stage, while Beto Ruiz Alonso covered the backstage and speakers area, and David Auner was on the convention floor providing excellent shots of the crowd and various vendors.
Some of my favorite images from Day 1:
The event continued on for another day, but sadly, I had to return to Vienna the next morning to hook up with my flight to Dublin that afternoon. David went on to cover the main stage of Day 2, while Martin Wanderer covered the exhibition floor.
