The Faces of London Tech

When you think European Tech, there are a few key locations that come to mind. London and Berlin being the two top notables. And if I was pressed for an answer, I’d be happy to admit that I personally favour the British variant over the German.

As I shoot so many events, and have a tremendous amount of contact with the London based scene, I wondered how I could help assist in the promotion of some of the hottest startups working out of the English capital. And thus was born, “The Faces of London Tech”.

Building on the office tour I did with Mic Wright, one of the reoccurring themes was making sure that the images were (relatively) free of individuals, so that the interiors would remain the focus of the presentation. For the Faces of London Tech project, I decided to flip the concept entirely, and focus solely on the individual and remove the environment.

And let’s face it, in today’s media hungry world, everyone needs a good headshot.

Shooting at White Bear Yard, Warner Yard, TechHub, Rainmaking Loft, and HoxtonMix, I’ve captured 130 headshots of founders, coders, designers, and everyone in between.

A huge Thank You goes out to all involved, and especially Mike Butcher and Jon Bradford, and Federico Pirzio-Biroli for making a number of intros and connections.

Enjoy, and until the next shoot – Dan
